This is Hands Offering Hope’s 8th year of operations—and it has been a year that has looked so different than we expected.

In addition to the economic poverty, limited job opportunities, and social expectations that these remarkable young leaders face each and every day, the pandemic has ravaged their communities.

They are completing school assignments via text message. Their already precarious financial situations have been made even more uncertain. And, like so many of us, they are in immediate need of connection and community.

Friends, we have the incredible opportunity to help them navigate this crisis.

And we also choosing to celebrate.

Because even in the midst of so much difficulty and disaster, there is so much to honor and recognize. Students are stepping up to lead their communities and serve their neighbors. They are caring for their peers and making things better for their families.
